After we graduate college we become Theta alumnae and are forever bonded with our sisters old and young by the black and gold. The bond of sisterhood is fostered in our chapter by the many helpful alumnae in the Forth Worth area, especially through our Advisory Board Chairman (ABC), Lisa Queralt. Lisa is present at all of our chapter meetings, assists chapter officers, and she also devotes much of her time and thoughtful guidance to the Member Development board of our chapter. The Fort Worth alumnae are also great contacts and friends during and after our time at TCU. They often send flowers and snacks during finals to the Theta house which is greatly appreciated by the chapter. Many of the alumnae have careers in fields we are studying, and may even hold jobs we wish to have in the future which makes our relationship with them very fun and beneficial. Early this year we celebrated Kappa Alpha Theta Founders Day with the alumnae here in Fort Worth. Many members of the chapter got the privilege to attend the Founders Day luncheon and get to connect with more of the alumnae which was a great experience for those members of our chapter. The alumnae continued to be a great help during rush and mock recruitment this past year. They also are great supporters of the annual Kappa Alpha Theta 5-K Breakaway. This past year there were a number of alumnae that were runners, made financial donations, and a past pledge class held their reunion at the Theta house on campus during the weekend of the run. The Gamma Psi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta greatly appreciates and looks forward to the involvement of the alumnae, for in a few short years we will be alumnae ourselves!
Theta love,
